Together with our international colleagues, we led and participated in training sessions in Alicante on the principles and practices of body liberation movements, and how to implement them in youth work.
The most special experience was the safe environment that allowed everyone to share their most painful stories about societal attitudes towards non-ideal bodies. The close friendships and collaborations formed in this atmosphere will undoubtedly lead to a series of significant initiatives in the future.
