On February 14th, Mission:Reconnect hosted a meeting for the project “Body Liberation for Gender Equality” in Prerov, Czechia. The the main goal of meeting was completing the research phase and moving on to the creative phase.
This next part will include creating new activities addressing issues linked to the body, negative stereotypes, and ways that lead to becoming more self-confident and able to raise a voice when facing various triggers, including body-shaming comments.
Besides training materials, the creative part will also include work on creation of supporting materials that will be available to anyone wishing to learn more about body-related issues and concepts, as well as tips on handling a variety of situations.
